Sheppard Heights Assembly of God

Every person has the right to a presentation of the Gospel on his or her level. We, at Sheppard Heights Assembly of God, focus on doing just that. We strive to show Jesus to everyone; in the way we talk, the way we worship, the way we preach, and in every aspect of our daily lives. We want people to get a clear picture of Jesus, and make Him Savior and Lord of their lives. We want to minister to you in whatever way we can regardless of your age, race or place in society. Most of all, if you don't know Jesus, we want to introduce you to Him!

As Pastor, I desire each sermon to be encouraging, relevant to the situations we encounter in today's world, and to challenge us to have the intimate relationship with God that He desires and we need. Yes, God wants our sins gone; yes, He wants us to live with Him in Heaven when we leave this earthly body. But these things are merely "benefits" of His main desire. Almighty God is also a loving and compassionate Heavenly Father. His main desire is to have an intimacy with us that surpasses the love we have for our children, spouses, parents, and friends. To enable that desire to become a reality, God gave His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as payment for our sin debt. The debt wasn't paid at a bank, but on a cross just outside of Jerusalem.

The Sheppard Heights Family and I want to give you an invitation to come be a part of our church family. All of us enjoy attending Church and, if you give us a try, we think you will too!

Please come visit us; We’d love to meet you.
